Dr. Zestos Demetris - Treasurer

Demetri was born in a small village at the base of Mount Olympus north of Larissa, Greece. His family moved to Saginaw, Michigan when he was 15 years old. After finishing undergraduate and medical school, Demetri worked at the Saginaw Community Hospital for five years before accepting a job with the United States Department of Justice. He retired after 26 years of service.

Demetri has always been involved with the Greek community as an AHEPA member since 1979, and a member of the American Hellenic Congress since 1996. He also serves on the board for Modern Greek Studies at the University of Michigan. Demetri resides in Northville, Michigan, with his wife and three children.
